The councillor for Ward 6 in the RM of Portage is standing for re-election.

 

Owen Williams is finishing his first term, and says he's enjoyed working with the other councillors, while learning the workings of the RM.

With no candidates in three wards, he urges people to step forward. He feels an interest in the RM is key, as well as understanding how to work with people.


Williams believes roads and drainage are the most pressing issues for RM residents. He points out with increased truck traffic, it takes a lot to keep roads in good shape.
