Amaranth RCMP arrested two men after a break and enter on Highway 50 near the town.

Police were called to the home on January 23rd around 4:30 p.m. Officers tracked the two suspects down a trail in a wooded area. With the help of Manitoba First Nations Police members, one suspect was detained near Sandy Bay First Nation. MFNPS officers were able to direct the RCMP toward the second suspect, who was located a short time later.

The two men from Sandy Bay -- a 26-year-old and a 24-year-old -- were charged with Break and Enter as well as Mischief Under $5,000. Both were set to appear in court.
