The U17 Central Energy team showed their talent competing in the Ringneck Softball Tournament in Sioux Falls, SD. The team went 3-0 in pool play with convincing wins over the Trojanettes from Missouri by a score of 12-6, the Nebraska Quakes 9-1 and the hometown Dakota Energy 5-3. Central continued their winning streak in game one of the playoffs, beating St. Peter Hyland from Minnesota by a 6-0 count. However, the weekend would end with the Energy losing in the 2nd round of the playoffs to a tough South Dakota Impact club by a score of 2-1.

The U17 Energy currently sit 2nd in MPSL standings nearing the end of the regular season.

The U15 Central Energy team also traveled south on the weekend, competing in the Red River Rage Tournament in Fargo, ND. Central won both of their round robin games to capture first place in their pool. Game one was a 7-6 win over the Dickinson Diamonds, and game two saw Central win 12-0 over the Fargo Moorhead Blaze. This set up the Energy well for a first round playoff matchup with West Fargo United, which Central would win 6-3. The Energy weekend would end with a 9-6 loss in the semifinal to a strong hitting Dakota Selects club.

The Energy currently sit 2nd in the MPSL standings with 4 games remaining.

The U13 Central Energy club also competed in the Ringneck Softball Tournament in Sioux Falls, SD. The club faced tough competition, going 0-3 in round robin play. Game one was a 4-3 loss to the TSC Tornados, while game two saw the Brookings Outlaws win 11-1. Game three was a close 6-5 loss to the Nebraska Quakes. Playoff Sunday began better with the Energy beating another Nebraska Quakes team 7-3. The tournament ended with a loss to the Twin Ports Rampage by a 5-1 score.

The U13 Energy are 5th in the MPSL standings.
