The Portage Terriers had 6 representative members at the annual MJHL-SJHL showcase on January 30th and 31st. The event was held at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg, with 3 teams made of players from each league attending.

The Terriers playing were Captain Tayem Gislason, Alternate Captains Slade Stanick and Parker Scherr, and first-year Terriers Nolan Nenow and Owen Witt. Gislason, Scherr, Stanick and Nenow all played, with Assistant Coach Robby Moar behind the bench with the Red 20U team, while Owen Witt played on the 18U team.

Stanick and Nenow both got on the board in their team's first game, as Nenow would score one of his team's two goals. Stanick drew the primary assist. Saskatchewan would win the game 5-2.

Owen Witt would not crack the scoresheet in his team's first game, a 3-2 loss to Saskatchewan's 18U team.

In Team Red's second game, Stanick assisted on his teams fourth goal, setting up Cody Gudnason, a Neepawa Titan, on the powerplay. Nenow and Gislason both took penalties in the first period. This game would end 7-5 with Saskatchewan taking the victory.

The 18U team would struggle to a 5-2 loss in their second game, however, Owen Witt would score the team's first goal in that game. You can watch it on video below.
