Honey Harvest is looking good this year. Beekeeper Phil Froese says the spring created a promising season for honey, but the hot, dry weather in July took its toll on the flowers.
Despite the weather, Froese says they set up 20% more colonies this year, putting their number at 750 hives.
He says the recent showers will improve the later harvest.
