Another production has been completed with Prairie Players, and a first-time director couldn't be happier.

Avery Griffith says that although this was his experience behind the stage, he couldn't be more thankful for the whole venture.

"The Play That Goes Wrong' was a four-day production that took us through the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society doing a more extensive production than they are used to, and literally, everything goes wrong."

The director notes that having support from the community meant the world to him during his first-ever director adventure.

"It's amazing to have something that I've been thinking about doing for so long, and I've been working on getting such a positive response from so many people."

He says the production went on without a hitch, and he owes it all to the cast.

"It was a fantastic cast and a unique experience, and I'm so happy with how everything went."

Randy Lilley played the lead role of Chris, the production director in the play, and says that his experience was excellent.

"I've made friends with people that we're going to do some other projects as well, and It was a great experience. I'd highly recommend anybody interested in getting on the stage or wanting to know more information. Look at Prairie players as an option. "

Lilley notes he is thankful for the other cast members and the director, Avery Griffith, for making his first Prairie Players encounter memorable.

"He encouraged people to put themselves into their character. I had more improvisation in this show than I have ever had in any show. If the audience heckled me, I was allowed to Heckle back, and I got to do that every night of the show."
