Eagle's Wings Flight School (EWFS) was one of the stars of the show at the Manitoba Aerospace All-Stars Awards of Excellence earlier this month.

On November 23rd, the flight school was awarded the Manitoba Aerospace 2023 Award of Excellence for Training. The award was bestowed upon the school following a nomination from Southport Aerospace, cementing EWFS's position as one of the top flight schools in the region.

EWFS founders, Josh and Ashleigh Cordery,  accepted the award, which showcases some of the hard work they have put in to make this program get off the ground.

Director of Business Development at Southport, Deanna Talbot, says Southport is very proud to partner with the program and the support they can provide Eagles Wings.

"Both Josh and Ashley and their entire team are making a difference in so many different people's lives. They're taking time out of their personal lives to create opportunities," Talbot continues. "They're wonderful at bringing communities and organizations together to give them these opportunities and these learning experiences that these children would not have the opportunity to have."

Talbot notes that it was especially nice to see the school recognized at the provincial level with all the other aerospace companies in the room.

EWFS website states that the school is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of a diverse group of individuals who are committed to investing in the lives of young people.
