The William Glesby Centre had a successful year in 2015 and Chair Mickey Cuthbert hopes 2016 will be even better. She says here will be a lot of great concerts at the Glesby Centre this year and encourages you to come enjoy a few.

"2016 should be the year that everybody out there decides to go to at least 1 concert and try it out...maybe you'll love it! We hope that we're going to continue to get the kind of performers that everybody enjoys."

Cuthbert outlines some of things they'll focus on in the year.

"There's always maintenance that we have to look at. Maybe we'll have some time this year to look at preventative things instead of just reacting to problems. A big push this year is going to be reaching more people, because there are a lot of people in Portage la Prairie and the surrounding districts that have never stepped foot in the Glesby Centre. We're going to have to come up with a way to reach those people because we need to fill the theatre in order to be successful"
