In the Manitoba Major Soccer League, Southport United will attempt to climb one more rung on the Fourth Division ladder this evening.

With a victory over the Carman Kickers and a Fusion FC loss, the United could leapfrog the Fusion FC into second place in division standings.

Southport Coach, Albert Phillipot, says the Kickers and United are very similar teams and typically when they meet it results in highly contested affairs which usually ends in a tie or failing that, a very close win for the club lucky enough to get the edge.

Game time tonight is 7:30 at Carman Collegiate.
