A collision occurred Wednesday morning involving a school bus and a gravel truck that sent multiple people to hospital.

The RCMP says the crash occurred on PR227 at Road 5 West, located 1 mile west of Warren. The school bus was travelling southbound on Road 5 West when it entered the highway and was struck by the westbound gravel truck.

The female driver of the school bus was transported by STARS to hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

Two students from the bus were reportedly taken to hospital with non-life-threatening physical injuries. Parents picked up the other students.
