Shortly before 11 am Friday, Carman area RCMP along with Fire and EMS responded to a report of a five vehicle collision at the junction of Highways 3 and 23.  RCMP have determined that the driver of a southbound pick-up truck was hauling a flatbed trailer with a small tractor on it, and while attempting to come to a complete stop at the construction site on Highway 3 she rear-ended a vehicle stopped in traffic.  That vehicle shot forward and a chain reaction ensued, with another three vehicles becoming involved in the collision.  No serious injuries were reported, although two people were taken to hospital to be examined.  Driver inexperience is considered a factor in this accident.  The investigation is continuing.
