New electric vehicle charging stations are coming to three communities along Manitoba's Highway 2.

The level-three chargers are set to be installed in Treherne, Holland, and Cypress River, and are aimed at adding to the charging network along the busy east-west highway.

The project is part of a 150-thousand-dollar investment by the Manitoba government to support a program being led by Eco-West Canada, a not-for-profit group that focuses on green infrastructure.
