The Central Plains FC are preparing to get back on the field today.

Tonight's game marks the halfway point of their three-game road trip. They will be taking on Winnipeg FC who tied with them in their last meeting.

Central Plains is just five points back of Winnipeg FC in the standings and they will have three extra games to cover that ground. Central Plains comes into this one having lost their last two outings. In both of those games, they were scoreless which hadn't happened to the team all year prior to that. While it isn't ideal, they did have to go up against the two best teams in the league in those two games.

A bright spot all year for the team has been striker Lane Donald who is currently tied for second in the division in scoring with 12 goals. They currently hold a record of 6-7-1 with four games left to play (including tonight's outing).

Central Plains hopes to get back on track tonight at 6:00 at Buhler Field in Winnipeg.
