Two people were taken to hospital today, following a collision on the Trans-Canada highway. Emergency crews responded to the scene this morning, after a report of a single vehicle rollover in the westbound lane near Bagot. The male driver was taken to Winnipeg for medical care, while the female passenger was transported to Portage General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A combination of excessive speed, drugs, and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors in the incident. The investigation into the matter continues.
