L to R: Brad Poole of RBC and Paul Lapointe of STARS

The Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society mobile education unit has arrived in Portage la Prairie. The state of the art cruiser offered demonstrations today in front of the RBC Bank.

STARS Manager of Continuing Education Paul Lapointe says the centrepiece of the demo is the state of the art mannequin, worth about $200,000. Lapointe says it is used for advanced training for doctors, nurses and paramedics.
