The PCI Saints were on the ice in Winnipeg Women's High School Hockey League action tonight. They faced the first-place St. Mary's Flames. The girls played hard all game and left it all on the ice but ultimately lost in a shootout by a score of 2-1.

Head Coach Jo-Anne Clark-Gillespie spoke about the game and the upcoming playoffs.

"All the things we've gone through with all the overtimes and shootouts, something has to go our way in the playoffs. Those chances that we're getting wouldn't happen if we weren't working hard and so that's how we have to look at it. We're getting chances because we create them with our work ethic. Every single girl on that bench tonight played really, really well."

With the final game of the season in the books, the Saints will now turn their attention to the playoffs where they will be facing the River East Kodiaks in the first round. The series schedule is as follows:

Game 1 - River East at PCI, Stride Place, Monday, February 12/18 4:00pm
