Seven Bald Eagles were seen Wednesday afternoon on Crescent Lake near Keeshkeemaquah Village beside Portage la Prairie. Locals have been seeing this rare sight a little more often than usual in recent weeks, as the warm weather has kept Canada geese on the lake. The eagles are using this for feeding opportunities and several were seen hunting and feeding throughout the afternoon causing people passing by to stop and take pictures.
