The Portage Terriers will look to continue their winning ways Friday when they play in Steinbach against the Pistons.

Coming into this one, the Terriers have won two games in a row, 3-1 over the Pistons this past Sunday and 4-2 over the Wolverines the previous day.

This matchup features the top two teams in the MJHL's eastern division. The Pistons currently sit in the #1 spot with a 20-3-1-0 record, while the Terriers are just below them in that #2 spot with a record of 17-6-3-2. 

Steinbach's leading scorer is 2003-born forward Kirk Mullen, who sits #2 in league scoring, scoring 13 goals and 18 assists in 21 games.

Portage's leading scorer, another 2003-born forward, Slade Stanick, is slightly behind Mullen. Stanick is #5 in league scoring, with 11 goals and 18 assists in 27 games played.
