For the third month of the year, Portage la Prairie Regional Library has filled up the activity calendar.

Leah O'Leary, Community Program Coordinator at the library, shared the action-packed March schedule. From crafting nights to themed story time sessions, there's something for everyone.

Families can enjoy crafting nights, movie screenings, Lego Clubs, and more. Story time sessions have been revamped with themes like Doctor Seuss and Saint Patrick's Day, featuring interactive activities for kids.

In partnership with Prairie Originals, the library introduces native seeds called Roots and Shoots, promoting environmental awareness. The annual Easter Egg contest and craft event returns on March 30.

Parents can connect during Stay and Play sessions while their little ones engage in playful activities.

“We have exciting programs coming up and we're really excited,” O’Leary explains. “Our calendar is pretty full this month, we're hoping to continue that for the rest of the year.”
