On December 4th, at approximately 12:15 am, Neepawa RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 16, at the junction of Highway 10, in the RM of Minto-Odanah.
The initial investigation has determined that a vehicle going west on Highway 16, crossed the centre line and collided with a semi-truck going east.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 19-year-old male from the RM of North Cypress-Langford, was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 39-year-old male from Winnipeg, had minor physical injuries and was treated on scene.
Neepawa RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
