Ten furry friends are unscathed after a grader operator discovered them on the side of the road in the Rural Municipality of Reynolds.

Last Friday, (January 6th) at approximately 11 a.m., Falcon Beach RCMP received a call after several puppies were found on the side of Provincial Road (PR) 308, near PR 503.

The caller was operating heavy machinery when he came across the puppies and was able to catch three of them but noted that several others had scattered.

Police contacted K9 Advocates Manitoba and began probing the area, along with Rural Animal Management Services and local community members. 

The RCMP notes that ten puppies were found shivering and cold but overall in good health.
