Portage La Prairie's William Glesby Centre's new Executive Director Keith Hutlet says coming into the new role has been fantastic. He tells us how he feels six months in.

"I'm feeling really good," says HUtlet. "At first it was a little bit overwhelming coming in trying to learn everything in such a short period of time with a new series just happening as I'm walking in the door. But now with my feet wet and a whole new team down there, it's been going fantastic."

The Glesby Centre is a non-profit organization and all of the costs of the shows they put on are on them. Hutlet adds it is important to fill the seats as it helps to cover the costs of putting on these shows. He says it also helps to spread the word, which in turn helps them to bring in better acts.

This Saturday night the Centre's showcasing Dorina Harvey. Hutlet says you can purchase tickets up to half an hour after a show begins.
