Today we went to the Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition; it was an all-around blast! There were over ten food trucks, more than twenty home-based businesses, a bunch of midway games, axe throwing, a petting zoo, chariot races, and of course, the rodeo!
The rodeo started at two, and the stands were completely full by one thirty! Although the stands were full, there was still an abundance of people waiting in line to get their wristbands to attend the rodeo.
Another highlight for many kids was the midway, we got the opportunity to talk to one of the volunteers for the midway, and they said they have many new games and rides for the kids to enjoy.

The petting zoo was also a huge hit, with many different animals where kids could learn about the many farm animals they had. People could also buy feeding cones to feed all animals right from their hands!

We also saw the communities come together at the Third Annual Gathering of Nations Powwow, where we witnessed some fantastic dancing and singing from First Nation peoples from all over Manitoba.

Overall it was a fantastic event. Please enjoy some of the photos that we took while there!
