Now that the storm has passed and things are getting back to normal, crews have been working on the damage left in our city.

Brian Taylor is the superintendent of Public works. He talks about some of the damage caused by the storm.

"From our power outage, we've had a lot of issues supplying pumps and power to our lift stations and Facilities," says Taylor. "With our aftermath, we've ended up with a lot of plugged lines."

Taylor explains what crews have been doing.

"We've been jetting diligently here all last week, and into this week," says Taylor. "We're trying to get blockages open, and now we are there. We've got a long way to go with the line."

Taylor reminds the public to be cautious around the areas that crews are working. He provides a general update.

"We just have to keep cleaning. We'll be doing this for a few more days to ensure are lines are draining down the way they should be," says Taylor. "We are sitting in good shape right now, it's just a matter of cleaning up."
