Following Wednesday's secret ballot vote to decide whether or not Erin O'Toole would remain as the Conservative party's leader, and was voted out, it was later decided by secret ballot that deputy leader Candice Bergen, MP for Portage-Lisgar since 2008, be made interim leader.  Bergen has held the position of Opposition House leader between 2016 to 2020.

Bergen will hold this position until a leader is chosen for the permanent position. She was among nine candidates for the role.

Stay posted for an interview with Bergen.
