The Portage Terriers are still feeling good about their Centennial Cup run last month, but that will soon be a distant memory as the 2023-24 regular season is approaching fast.

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League announced the regular season schedule for all 13 teams league-wide, and the Portage Terriers will host the Virden Oil Capitals in their first game at Stride Place. The Terriers will be looking for revenge as the Oil Capitals knocked them out of the second round of the playoffs last season. Virden also eliminated Portage from postseason contention in the final game of the regular season in 2023-24.

The Dogs will open their season on the road in Neepawa in a matchup with the Titans. Portage will also visit the MJHL champion Steinbach Pistons in the first week of the year.

The Terriers take on Neepawa on September 23, host Virden on September 24 and battle the defending champions on September 28. For the Terriers' full schedule click here.
