A 36-year-old man turned himself in to Carberry RCMP, after being wanted for shooting another man late last month.

Nicholas Peters was charged with the shooting, after it was alleged he shot a 45-year-old man outside a rural home in the RM of Cornwallis, Manitoba, on August 30th. The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of the morning.

The victim was transported to hospital by a 36-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman. He remains in hospital in stable condition.

Peters turned himself in on September 4th. He appeared in court Thursday.
