Christmas break's over for Portage Terriers, as the MJHL resumes play.

The Dogs host Winkler Flyers this afternoon at the PCU Centre, and may have some added incentive to record a victory, after losing 6-1 in Winkler December 15th.

Forward Michael Knaub feels it's important to send a message.

"Those are always the big games, and we've just got to be focused, we've got to be ready to go, and everybody's got to dig in and find a way to win against those kind of teams."

Forward Chase Brakel agrees.

"We've had a couple of practices, so that'll be good to help, but I think we'll be ready to go, especially against Winkler, after that loss."

Puck drop this afternoon is 4:30.

You'll hear the game on CFRY and portageonline.com, starting with the pre-game show at 4:20.
