The Portage Islanders play their second-to-last home game tonight against Warren in South Eastern Manitoba Hockey League action at the PCU Centre.

They're sporting a record of 9-7, and are currently in a 3-way tie for 3rd place with Morden and Altona. Warren is at the bottom of the barrel, and have only managed 2 wins this season -- one of which came against the Islanders in November.

Islanders' GM Jeremy Brooks says they can't take them lightly.

"Warren plays a physical game, so I think that if we can match that physical game and come out early and wear them down, we can use our offensive power to really take control of the game."

Puck drop is set for 8 p.m. at the PCU Centre.
