The Portage Terriers are preparing for the various summer events that happen between now and the start of the season. The season ticket drive has kicked off, and fans have the opportunity to reserve seats for the season and beyond. Cody Buhler shared some of the benefits of buying those tickets.

"The big thing for us right now is Season Tickets. Season ticket holders get customized season ticket cards. It's about the size of a credit cards, it has the schedule on the back, and that's what you scan in at every home game when you come as a season ticket holder," Buhler continues. "So, if you buy your season ticket before July 1, you will receive a personalized card with your name and seat location, you get your seat that's saved for you all year. You get the first right of refusal for that seat in the playoffs, and of course, it's your best way to save, as early-bird pricing goes right up until the end of the day on June 30."

Buhler also shares that they are preparing for one of their biggest summer events every year, their annual golf tournament.

"It's hard to believe this is the fifth annual Geno Romanow Par Three Challenge, although we have been doing the tournament longer than that. It's the fifth year in his honour. So, we're looking to have some fun, it's on Lucky Friday the Thirteenth in September. We actually already have over 100 golfers signed up, so that's great, but that means there isn't a lot of room if you want to sign up a team. So, make sure to do that as soon as possible to guarantee your spot. You can send me an email, give me a call, shoot me a text, there's plenty of ways to get in for that."

Buhler adds that the support of the community is greatly appreciated by the organization, and they hope to have more residents join the fold this year.
