The Portage Terriers have their home opener tonight against the Winnipeg Blues at Stride Place. It's a rematch of Friday night when Portage spoiled the Blues' start to the season 4-0

Captain Chase Brakel is looking forward to the evening, "I'm excited for it. It should be a pretty special game for our home opener, especially being the 50th season." Brakel scored the game-winner on Friday night on the power play. Brock Aiken grabbed the shutout in the season opener and knows his team needs to play the same way if they want to win again. "It's the same game plan. We kept them to the outside, and scored when we had chances"

The Terriers were 1-7 on the power play and hope to improve on that tonight. Puck drop is set for 6:30 pm.
