It was another great evening during the CFRY Radio Amateur Talent Show as the community of Teulon raised $8,117. That money will now go towards the Teulon/Rockwood Rec Commission which will use the funds for upcoming programming for 2016.

The night featured 13 acts who took to the stage to perform for the many locals who were in attendance. With so many talented individuals it was a difficult decision to choose just one to name as the most promising. In the end congratulations went to Keara Barrett who won CFRY's Most Promising Performer. Others who were recognized for their efforts included Melinda Skogan who brought in $975, while Arnie Appell raised $1560 and by a narrow margin Ainsleigh Hutchinson and Zuri Cook managed an impressive $1583 in funds brought in for the centre.

For those who still wish to donate they can send cash or a cheque to Teulon Rockwood Recreation Commission, Box 69 Teulon, MB. R0C 3B0. Or dropped off in person at the Teulon Civic Centre, 44 4th Avenue S.E. Teulon, MB.
