Second set of Heritage signs to go up along the Crescent

You may have noticed the new Heritage signs along the Crescent in Portage la Prairie that replaced the older versions with a much nicer format and design style. Councillor Terrie Porter says the next set is ready to roll out soon.

"We're working on the next set leading up to the National Residential School Museum, and those are going to be our Indigenous signs," says Porter. 

She explains the signs depict the history and significant spots, and there are actually two different projects involved. Porter adds there is Indigenous signage that's upcoming as well as signage already displayed for the architecture and the houses on the Crescent.
