10 community clubs throughout the Rural Municipality of Portage will once again benefit from the RM's Hextall fund.  $15,705 is being distributed to the 10 different centres.  Reeve Toby Trimble feels the money is essential for local community clubs and plays a big role in helping them to keep their facilities open. 
Trimble believes every community needs a centre point and these clubs help bring residents together.  Some of the community clubs that will share the money include the Edwin Community Club, Gainsborough Cooperative Community Club and the High Bluff community club.
