The Regional Health Authority of Central Manitoba is making sure the federal government sticks to its promise.

With the help of private citizens the RHA is lobbying to ensure the government will fulfill its commitment to fund and implement the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control.

The board of directors for the health authority requested that municipalities and media write letters to their local and provincial representatives.

RHA Board member Ralph Cibula says it may take some time before the letters make an impact, because they are dealing with the federal government.
