Hailing from Portage la Prairie, forward Koy Funk has officially signed a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Calgary Hitmen.
A left-handed forward, Funk was selected in the 4th round of the 2023 WHL prospect draft as the 77th overall pick. Recently, Funk played an important role in winning the WHL Cup as Team Manitoba's alternate captain. He has scored three goals and two assists in 5 games for the RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg U18 team this season.
