Pauline Meechas of Long Plain First Nation, wife of John Meechas, passed away at Portage la Prairie, MB on Tuesday. August 4, 2015 at the age of 68 years

Pauline leaves to mourn her family: husband John Meechas; children Lisa (Conrad), Lorne (Lacy), LeeAnn (Kirby), Sheryl (Darren); grandchildren Danielle, Stephan, Brennan, Tristan, Caitlyn, Cody, Leticia, Kelsey, Jazmin, Alyssa, Jessie, Taylyn, Leah, Terrell, Nolan, Grason, Kristen, Paula, Paul Jr., John, Christopher, Shaniqua, Camryn, Emma and Vianna; great grandchildren Jaelynn, Aries, Miryia, Kaylee, Koby, Michael, Kale, Akeelah, John, Tianna, Lenna, Jenessa, Tristan and Tyler. Also surviving are brother Mervin Roulette; sisters Evelyn, Doris and Georgina Roulette along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Mable Roulette; brothers Alvin, Allen, Earl and Russell Roulette; sister Gloria Roulette.

Traditional Wake will begin at 4:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Long Plain Rez Plex.

Traditional Feast and Service will take place on Friday, August 7, 2015 beginning at noon at the Long Plain Rez Plex

Interment will follow at Long Plain Cemetery
