Munchkins all ready for this weekend's show at the Glesby

 

Chris Kitchen and his daughter Naomi stopped by the studio to talk about the Drama Room's latest play: The Wizard of Oz. Students have been working towards this final project all year and will put on two shows this weekend at the Glesby. Chris explains how each show will differ:

 

 

The Drama Room has been working on this final project since September. If you are not familiar with the Drama Room, it is an acting class for students between the ages of 7-14. This year, 25 students will take part in the Wizard of Oz production:

 

 

Everyone knows the story of Dorothy and her travels to Oz down the yellowbrick road, however, there will be some differences between the play and the movie that may surprise you:

Naomi is usually seen on stage, with her most recent role in last year's production of Shrek. In this production, she is taking on a different position:

 

 

As one of three directors working with the twenty-five students in the club, Naomi explains what she has learnt so far:
