After a mellow January, Recreation Director for North Norfolk, Karla Gurke, says MacGregor is buzzing with soup and pie gatherings, fishing days, and the upcoming barrage of bonspiels at Stride Centre.

Cory Wojcik kicks off his regional tour of "Mixtapes from my Mom" at MacGregor Collegiate Institute on February 12th. Promising a heartfelt musical journey through the best hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s.

"I am so excited about the show." Gurke shares. "They just sent me a little reel of some of the songs that you’ll hear in that performance, and I can't wait. It's going to be a blast."

Gurke says she is especially excited for the Elvis show on Valentine's Day at the McGregor Hotel, noting she has already purchased her tickets.

She encouraged interested people to reach out.

"If you see something you like, reach out to me or reach out to the municipality. If you want to add something to our newsletter, you want to see a certain event come to town. Feel free to contact me or someone in the office and we'll try to make it happen."

MacGregor's February seems to be all about community engagement and making memories together.
