Last week the Lighthouse Christian School in Southport held their annual Christmas concert.

Principal Darlene Long explains one of the highlights of the evening.

"Their final production of the evening was the student body reciting Isaiah 53, in unison with actions. That was the highlight of the evening of course. That was all memorized and recited from memory," says Long.

Long says the school always anticipates the concert every year.

"We're excited to be able to put on this production each year. It brings in the Christmas season, the kids are quite excited to take part, and then we'll close off for Christmas vacation," says Long.

Long adds there was also a Christmas play about the birth of Jesus, as well as songs performed with bells.
