The Portage la Prairie Regional library is hopping for joy as they plan an Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 16th, for kids from the age of three to fourteen. The Library has set up three different times for children to look for easter eggs and work on some fun crafts. The library is splitting up age groups so, they can make the egg hunt as well as the crafts more challenging as they move up in the age groups. The first group is for children from the age of three to five there hunt will start at 10:30 a.m. and will come to a close at 11:30. The second group will have a hopping good time at 1:00 p.m and is for children aged six to nine. The last group will have an eggs-cellent time at 3:00 p.m. for kids aged ten to fourteen while they search for the hardest eggs to find.

Registration for this event is quickly filling up as there are only 10 spots left to register in the last hunt. In order to register, all you need to do is go to their website, email the library at programming@portagelibrary.com, or just give the library a call at (204) 857-4271.

The program director, Alissa Cannon says, "It's fantastic to have kids in the library again and be able to come in and interact with the kids."

This is just one of the events that they are planning for the community. Cannon goes on to say that they are planning a lot of events for the summer with activities going on more than once a week.
