The Town of Arborg is looking to have a quieter year in 2016. Mayor Randy Sigurdson says it'll be quite a contrast from last year.

"I think this year is going to be a little bit less exciting because we've done so much last year, especially because of the big grant we got for a $2 million water project. So, I think this year is going to be sort of a quieter year. I'm sure we'll have lots of smaller little things to do."

He notes there aren't any projects that will carry forward into this year from the last.

"Everything pretty well got done that we wanted to get done. There's always new things that are on the list. We have to weigh them through on budget time and see where all that goes. As far as being on budget, we haven't really finalized all the year-end expenses, but we're always pretty close to being in budget. We have to be in budget."
