Funeral date and time:  June 30, 2016 at 11am

Kenneth Marek of Portage la Prairie, beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Chennells), passed away at Portage la Prairie, MB, on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the age of 70

Ken leaves to mourn his wife Phyllis after 43 years of marriage; his son Trevor (Linda) of Morden; his daughter Colleen of Winnipeg and his granddaughters Leah, Katelyn and Alyssa.  He is survived by two sisters Jean Prowse and Joyce Corbett(Arley) and brother Ed Marek(Vi) of Beausejour, Manitoba as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his siblings Mike (2004), Emily (2006), Kay (2008), Joe (2011), John (2015) and Stan (2015).

Viewing will take place on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. both at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church.

Service to celebrate Ken’s Life will be on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. At Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church.
