Funeral announcement for: James (Jim) Daniel White
Funeral date and time: March 24, 2016 at 3:30pm
James (Jim) Daniel White, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” White, passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 21st, 2016 at the Lions Prairie Manor, at the age 96 years
Predeceased by his wife, Betty White, and one brother, Charlie. Jim leaves to mourn his passing his two sons: Robert (Suzanne) of Corpus Christi, Texas, and their children: Dennis (Mikale) White, Jennifer (Jason) Thiessen, and Stephanie (Scott) Jones; son Perry (Brenda) of Brainerd, Minnesota, and their children: Dylan, Bryce and Blair; eight great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. with Beth Kerr officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Portage Canadian Legion Branch #65, 275 Duke Avenue, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 0S5.
