The plans for Carman-Dufferin fire hall are well under way.

Fire Chief Ed Vandersluis says the plan is well thought out and they are excited about it.
They have budgeted around $400,000.00 for the 60 by 80 building.

There will be a large meeting hall on the first floor, including a two storey office building.
The upstairs will be for storage, and a staff room for the firefighters that includes full bathrooms.

Vandersluis says the building will be something they can work with and they hope to have the tender started before the snow flies.
