There was an Ag Knowledge Exchange Event hosted by Farm Credit Canada at the Canad Inns in Portage la Prairie this afternoon.
FCC Senior Relationship Manager Dan Brown outlines the event.
"Today's (event) was just an informational event in order to talk about things like farmland value and farmland rents."
Brown was pleased with the turn out.
"We had about 40 people, and we're very happy with the way the event turned out. I thought Lance (Stockbrugger) did a great job of making the people think about a number of things, and I thought it was a real worth while day."
He says it was mostly an informational event. There's another event today in Morris.
