Portage's Heritage Square hosts this season's first Farmers Market tomorrow. It'll run from 9 am until noon.

Organizer Rory Timmers says they'll continue until the Thanksgiving weekend. He adds something that started last year continues this year. Live music was introduced last year, and they're working with the Glesby Centre to provide it this year.

Timmers is confident there'll be new potatoes and carrots tomorrow), while he expects peas in the pod by Wednesday's market. Baking and crafts are also part of the Farmers Market.
