Funeral announcement for:  Evelyn Warren of Portage la Prairie

Funeral date and time:  February 27, 2016 at 1pm

Evelyn Warren of Portage la Prairie, passed away at Portage District General Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the age of 91 years.

Evelyn Warren will be lovingly remembered by son Glenn (Susie) of Portage la Prairie, MB with grandson Grant (Michelle) and great grandchildren Reece and Avery; daughter Sandra (Bryan) Birkett of Battleford Saskatchewan with granddaughter Julien and great grandchildren Phoenix and Tiger and grandson Derek and great grandchildren Hannah and Abby; son David (Margaret) of Powell River BC with grandson Tom and great grandchildren Brittany and T-J, grandson Don (Janine) and great grandchildren Miranda and Jordan and grandson Keith (T’Shana) and great grandchildren Jason and Riley; sister June Kelln of Medicine Hat, AB as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband George; parents Fred and Edwidge McKay, brothers Donald and Raymond both of Calgary, AB, brother Eugene killed in World War II in Sicily and sister Yvonne of Edmonton, AB.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at McKenzie's Portage Funeral Chapel at 1:00 pm.

Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Columbarium, followed by a reception at McKenzie's Portage Funeral Chapel.
