After nearly a year and a half of planning and building, the new Portage Credit Union building opens today.

General Manager Dave Omichinski notes it's a state of the art facility in several ways, particularly security. That includes internal and external cameras, as well as pass-card entry.

Omichinski commends the effort of all staff during the building process, especially in the last week, when moving-in began, and 16,000 files were set in place on Wednesday in less than a day.

He's confident members will be pleased with what they see, adding they'll continue to emphasize personal relationships.
