Tonight Portage will be looking to nab win number 2 of the season in the Winnipeg Women's Soccer League.

The Blaze were 3-1 victors in their second meeting of the year over Aftica, but since then haven't been able to put up any numbers in the win column, posting a record of 2 ties and 4 losses. Tonight they'll try to change all that as they head to Winnipeg to take on the Top Totties in Division 2 action.

Blaze Coach, Bryan Mintenko, says their opposition this evening is near the bottom of the division, so he's expecting a strong effort from his roster which should produce a good result. He adds Portage is desperate for a victory at this point in the young season to dig out of the hole they've created for themselves, which is reflected in a 1-5-2 overall record.

Game time this evening is 7:30 at Lipsett Hall.
